Showa 54 is a low gain overdrive, based on the classic 1979 green overdrive. Unlike the normal  1981 one, the 1979 model contains less mid bump and more transparent. Showa 54 also captured the DNA from the 1979 model, adding 2 clipping modes and extra bass enhance toggle for flexibility.
